Definitely coming home and finding my parents had gotten me my first car - it might have been a little cute rusted thing, but it was mine, and I was so chuffed! I was so upset when I had to sell it last year!
It was my 7th birthday and I threw a party and dressed as Snow White. It was really fun, because I had always wanted to have a party on my birthday. :)
When I was turning 11, I was at a camping event with my youth group and it happened during my birthday. So my friends decided to tell everyone there to sing happy birthday to me. Thanks for the giveaway!
When I turned ten, one of my good friends was moving away. I was going to have a birthday party and I didn't know if he could make it or not. I was so happy when he go to come, and he gave me the best gift ever. I still have it. It is a little around jewelry box with stars all over it. :D
My best birthday memory is my 21st birthday. My now ex-bfs best friend took me downtown for a night of dancing and bar hopping. I didn't pay for a thing and I tried soooo many new mixed drinks/shooters. Good times :)
My last birthday, which was my 21st. It was my first birthday with my boyfriend and we went to PARIS! We saw the Louvre and got amazing hot chocolate. It was incredible. :)
My best birthday memory was when we planned a surprise birthday party for my aunt and ended up surprised ourselves when three more cakes showed up at the table. Turned out we were celebrating not just our aunt's birthday, but also mine, my brother's, and my cousin's. The three of us had no clue the others were planning it. And the e-reader my brother (supposedly) got for my aunt was really my birthday present! I was so happy. Lots of surprises that day... and cake.
My cute husband gave this really cute gift where he put stuff in balloons with little poems he wrote saying what we were going to do with the stuff in the balloons. It was really cute hes not normally like that so it was a great surprise.
My best birthday memory was my 16th birthday - my parents told me we had to go pick up my sister at a bowling alley, and when we got there, all of my friends were there. That was my only surprise party, and it remains my favorite birthday memory, especially because it took me a surprisingly long time to realize why they were all there. :D
I think the last one (in June 2012) was great! I did literally several days of various parties with different groups of friends. It was a two week fiesta! Happy Birthday Cricket! :) BTW, Birthday cake has no calories. Just want to remind you! hehehee
hmmmmm my birthdays are all fun since they are usually with Easter. :-) My favorite was one that Easter sunday was on the same day as my birthday. LOTs of chocolate!!! :-D
My fondest birthday moment was discovering one of the cats on my mom's farm had kittens. She was having trouble raising them. I took over for her and got the best kitten/cat that I ever had.

My best birthday memory was probably my 18th birthday. My parents had kept some one my Barbies and had them on the kitchen table sitting around my breakfast. My old Life Size Barbie was sitting at the table in her original outfit. I have a "twin" cousin, and that night we had a small intimate get together of a few family members and friends and had cake and ice cream. I got tons of books and some beautiful Amber Diamond earrings from my grandparents. I was also excited because I could FINALLY vote.
I was probably 13 or something and my family took my to Goodtimes, it's one of those parks that had go-carts, bumper boats, putt-putt and an arcade inside. It was really fun!
On my 5th bday *you must be wondering how come I still remember that*, we threw a birthday party for me in the yard - we made hats for the guests to wear on the D-day and it was just so fun! I remember my first crush came with his grandpa and gave me one of the best presents ever: a set of crayon wrapped so nicely. I loved drawing, you see. Well last year my mom let me do a Pride and Prejudice marathon for the BBC miniseries. It was amazing. Another year my dad's company party which was being held at at big water park happened to be on my birthday! I totally loved that.

Getting the Snow White doll off the cake I shared with my cousin. She was a year younger than me, but had the same birthday and we always had to have our birthdays together to save money. Sure she got all the dwarves, but I got the princess and SHE was the most important person in the room! Happy Birthday because this is your day to be the most important person in the room!
My 6th bday had a carnival theme and we had all kinds of fun games with prizes set up in the backyard and yummy food. It was probably the most elaborate birthday I ever had as a kid.

It was when I turned 7 when me and my mom went to church to thank God for my special day, while walking in the aisle I was on to crying and when I begun my prayer of thanks to the Lord, I did begun weeping. Weeping for thanks that at last I can go to grade school! How I really was so excited getting to a new school, stepping to another year of my life. So thankful that day and still could remember the feeling every time I would reminisce it.
My 5th birthday--all of my family went to Showbiz Pizza (now Chuck E. Cheese's). My little sister was just a tiny little newborn, lol. It stormed badly, and when we got home, the electricity was out. But it was a really fun birthday anyway. :D
I think it was when I was six and my four year old brother couldn't keep my present a secret. It was hidden in the back of the car and when we got in he was all sneaky like and told me, "Alexis. Look in the back! We got a scooter for your birthday!" Yeah... My mom doesn't hide any presents in the back of the car anymore. :)
My best birthday memory would be when i turned 16 and invited numerous friends to a local theme park, however, i invited so many that we had to sit on each other's laps on the way to the park. I just remember how funny it was.
When I turned 7, I had the cutest little birthday at what I remember as fairyland, where we all got little wee costumes and party bags and had all the pink fairies come in to take photos with us and help me cut the big chocolate cake. It was funny to see the boys just sitting there having the same amount of fun as us girls because they were still children :) Very good memory.
When I was little, I don't remember exactly how old I was, but it was the only birthday when all my cousins that live in other countries were there for my birthday :)

A couple years ago, we for me a cake, and took it down to in front of the Courthouse to eat. Around us, the Slugburger Festival was going on. I loved that!
The year of my 101 Dalmations themed birthday party. All the decorations including the cake plus presents had to follow the theme. It was my happiest birthday! All my family was there and it was a great time!

ReplyDeleteIt was when I turned 7 when me and my mom went to church to thank God for my special day, while walking in the aisle I was on to crying and when I begun my prayer of thanks to the Lord, I did begun weeping. Weeping for thanks that at last I can go to grade school! How I really was so excited getting to a new school, stepping to another year of my life. So thankful that day and still could remember the feeling every time I would reminisce it.

ReplyDeleteMy 5th birthday--all of my family went to Showbiz Pizza (now Chuck E. Cheese's). My little sister was just a tiny little newborn, lol. It stormed badly, and when we got home, the electricity was out. But it was a really fun birthday anyway. :D

I don't have any good memories of my birthdays... My family does not care much for them! And in fact, I have a bad memory of my fourth birthday. :/
ReplyDeleteI think it was when I was six and my four year old brother couldn't keep my present a secret. It was hidden in the back of the car and when we got in he was all sneaky like and told me, "Alexis. Look in the back! We got a scooter for your birthday!" Yeah... My mom doesn't hide any presents in the back of the car anymore. :)
ReplyDeleteMy best birthday memory would be when i turned 16 and invited numerous friends to a local theme park, however, i invited so many that we had to sit on each other's laps on the way to the park. I just remember how funny it was.

ReplyDeleteWhen i first got my license and when my cousins surprised me by baking homemade cake from scratch. Also hanging out with friends and family.
ReplyDeleteWhen I turned 7, I had the cutest little birthday at what I remember as fairyland, where we all got little wee costumes and party bags and had all the pink fairies come in to take photos with us and help me cut the big chocolate cake. It was funny to see the boys just sitting there having the same amount of fun as us girls because they were still children :) Very good memory.

I think it was my 15th birthday? I had an awesome chocolate M&M's cake with a lovely gift.

ReplyDeleteA couple years ago, we for me a cake, and took it down to in front of the Courthouse to eat. Around us, the Slugburger Festival was going on. I loved that!

ReplyDeleteAugust 23rd is my birthday. August is a great month ;) My best memories of speading the day at the beach. I love going to the beach and sitting on it with a book watching my kids now.
