This week I've been busy reading and working. It's been quiet at home other than my dogs and their normal shenanigans. The hubby and I have been planning to start working out but something always gets in the way but we're going to have to make time. On Thursday one of my aunts passed away not too long after her sisters called her that morning to sing her happy birthday. I've been thinking about switching to Wordpress but I'm not sure about it just yet, so I'm going to do some more research.

Thanks. I hope to get to them soon. I look forward to reading Immortal Reign.
DeleteSorry to hear about your aunt! All my best wishes to your family...
ReplyDeleteYou have some great looking books to read. Sky in the Deep looks amazing, and so does Brightly burning. Hope you have a good week.
Brightly Burning seems like it will be a good one, so I hope to dive into that one soon. Thanks.
DeleteWordpress scares me.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your aunt!
I'm okay with Blogger but I see so many people moving to Wordpress, so it makes me wonder. Thanks.
DeleteBrightly Burning and From the Earth to the Shadows both look interesting. I also love their covers. I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt. I hope you have a better week this week :)
ReplyDeleteThey do have really cool covers. Thanks
DeleteWow, nice books!! Congrats on the wins!! Enjoy your nice books!

I really want to read The Hazel Wood! I hope you enjoy all your new books! I am riding out the storm that took out our power at a friends. So surreal looking at all the downed trees and power lines cut in half. They say we won't have power to our area till Wednesday!! Have a good Sunday!
ReplyDeleteMary #SundayRoundup #8
Yes. It's sounds really good and I can't wait to dive into that one. Hopefully they get your power back up and running soon.
DeleteSorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteHazel Wood been's getting good hype. Enjoy.
Thanks, yeah I see and hope it's as good as the hype.
DeleteYour new books are looking great! Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your aunt!
ReplyDeleteHope your plans for working out, work out, lol! Enjoy your books and happy reading! :)
Thank you. Me too, I need to exercise, especially with my sedentary jobs.
DeleteStarting to exercise is difficult. I do much better in summer because I really like hiking and walking. But the exercise bike is hard to do during the winter (for me). Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI just made the switch from Blogger to Wordpress (paid subscription) and the transfer went really well. I am still in the process of fixing a bunch of hyperlinks...but it transferred remarkably well.
I want to get a bike to ride around the neighborhood because I think that would be a good start for me. I'm not a fan of the gym but will go if I have to. Thanks, I'm glad it worked out for you so far.
DeleteSo many love new books this week!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your aunt. How wonderful her sisters were able to sing Happy Birthday to her:)
My Sunday Post
Yeah, she was happy. Thanks
DeleteI am so sorry to hear about your aunt. I understand about the difficulty in fitting exercise into your schedule. I'm struggling with that right now. I had been managing it a couple years ago, but I got out of the habit and then never got back into it. Brightly Burning sounds like it will be good! I hope you enjoy it. Have a great week, Cricket!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's even harder when I'm always working but I really need to lose weight. :)
DeleteSorry to hear about your Aunt.
ReplyDeleteYou got some great books. :)
I'm so sorry about your aunt. I do identify with not being able to fit in exercise. I so know the feeling. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's hard when time is limited. Thanks.
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your aunt. Working out is hard for me to fit into my schedule too. I used to live by an awesome gym that I'd go to maybe 5 times a week, but ever since I've moved I have yet to find a good gym. I've been tempted to do at home workout videos, but I just can't find the motivation. Beneath the Haunting Sea was good! I hope you enjoy it. It has a slow build but it's worth it by the end, in my opinion. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It would be nice if I wasn't so tired to get up and just walk around my neighborhood. We live too far away to drive to the park unless I'm out or heading that way. I've done some home videos and it helps to have ones that are fun. Thanks I'm glad you liked it.
DeleteThat looks like a great book-haul this week! I'm trying really hard not to buy any books this month, but I have this unfortunate feeling I'm going to cave :) Have a great week, Cricket and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I try to get my books from the library because I have nowhere to put any books right now.
DeleteWonderful haul this week. I'm really interested in The Queen's Rising and am anxious to see what you think about it.
ReplyDeleteI'm about to read this one right.
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your aunt. I need to make more time to work out too. There just never seems to be enough hours in the day to fit everything in though.
ReplyDeleteI know right, it always seems like it's never enough no matter how far in advance I plan my time.
DeleteLooks like some great books there! Hope you enjoy. I need to read The Hazel Wood, too.
ReplyDeleteI'll probably start that one this week or next week. Thanks
DeleteI am new here, haven't read much lately, but do appreciate all the blog hops. I like your meme.
ReplyDeleteThanks, glad you stopped by!
