This week went by so fast. Monday my job closed early because of inclement weather. Tornado watches and warnings. We are a little more cautious about weather here since the April 2011 tornado. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing, in the hallway on the phone with a friend that was checking to see if I was okay. She was watching the weather on the news and she could see exactly where it was and as it was headed to my direction our conversation cut out. It's path changed but she didn't know that. The rest of the week has been nice weather with a little chill. My aunt has been home for a week and she's doing okay but has some pain and discomfort. Om another note, I stumbled across a page that I had written in 2012, it seemed like I was thinking about a story at the time but 2018 me has no idea where 2012 me was going with it. However, when I have time to sit down I will if that spark is still there.

What's new with you? Did you discover any new books?
I hope your weather stays calm. Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, it's actually really nice today.
DeleteGlad to hear your aunt is feeling better. Hopefully there won't be any more tornado warnings this week. You got some awesome books! Love, Hate & Other Filters looks like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I like that one because she has a camera on the cover.
DeleteTornados can be so scary. We had one close by when I was a kid and it scared the crap out of me lol. Not fun...
ReplyDeleteGood luck to your aunt, hope all goes well.
Have a super week!
It's pretty scary. Thanks, I'm looking forward to next weekend already.
DeleteI hope the spark is still there. If not, try candlelight and champagne. That usually works with my good ideas.

I love the idea of candles and relaxing :)
DeleteI am looking forward to read Love Hate & Other Filters as well. All others are kinda new to me but I will look into them.
ReplyDeleteGayathri @ Elgee Writes
Yeah, I liked the premise for it and the cover. So I had to grab it.
DeleteI'm glad the weather only threatened, but didn't do anything serious. It's been weird with the weather lately! I hope you have nicer weather soon. Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteMe too. This weather has been all of the seasons, just crazy.
DeleteGenevieve Graham books are amazing. I hope you totally enjoy that book. I haven't started this series but plan to very soon. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteMary my #SundayRoundup
I look forward to reading it. It continues with the Baker family. Thanks
DeleteI am glad to hear the weather turned out to be not as bad as they forecasting. Ive never been through a tornado, so I only imagine how scary that would be. Where I grew up, we had hurricanes, but no major ones like they’ve had recently. Enjoy the new books. I really enjoyed Come from away. :) Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHurricanes are pretty scary too but I'm glad you didn't go through any serious ones. I'm looking forward to reading it soon. Thanks :)
DeleteI don't know if I could live in an area with tornadoes. That's the one thing Mother Nature does that scares me. I'm glad to hear your aunt is still doing well. I hope she has a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteI've lived in this area my whole life and used to be able to sleep through them because they'd never hit here but now it's different. Thanks.
DeleteThe weather can be so scary sometimes. That's good yall are cautious. We get that with hurricanes and snow here. Hope your auntie starts feeling better (yay for being home at least!)
ReplyDeleteThanks, she seems to be glad that she's home. I don't know what I'd do with hurricanes and we shut down at the mention of snow here.
DeleteGlad there was no tornado this time! We had snow on Wednesday. This weather is nutty!
ReplyDeleteI'm just ready for a nice pleasant Spring but with that comes our tornado season. The weather is pretty wacky lately.
DeleteTornado's freak me out. So glad we don't really get anything like that in the UK. Hope everything is calm and tornados stay away!
ReplyDeleteIt's actually really nice weather today and I'm glad for it.
DeleteTornados are so scary. It’s been a few years since we had one here. I hope you enjoy your new books and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Thanks, I hope to finish To Kill a Kingdom tonight and decide what to read next.
DeleteYES! Someone else reading Written in Red. It's such a wonderful series. And of course, I want everyone to enjoy it as much as I did. I still need to read the 5th one and then start the spin-off. Stay safe - storms scare me so I feel for anyone who lives with them or has been through a horrible one.
ReplyDeleteI've heard so many good things about so I had to have it. Thanks so much.
DeleteI'm really getting curious about Love, Hate & Other Filers. I hope you enjoy it. I'm glad the tornado took a turn away from you. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post

Thanks and me too. Come on Spring!
DeleteTornadoes sound so scary :-/ Hopefully you'll be able to do something with that story idea!
ReplyDeleteThey really are, me too. I need time when my surroundings are quiet, so I can focus on the story.
DeleteHope everyone has a good week!
