The weather here has been borderline summer with temps getting up in the 80s. My husband and I will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary on Tuesday. We won't do anything fancy because we both have to work. We spent Friday night eating tacos and watching movies. On another note, I feel like I finally got my reading mojo back after being in a slump. How's your week been?

Tacos and movies sounds like a pretty good night to me. Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, it was pretty chill.
DeleteHappy anniversary to you guys, and yay for 80's! That sounds pretty good right now lol as we are clearly NOT in the 80's! Tacos and movies are pretty good combo! Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. It was nice but a little hot.
DeleteHappy anniversary to you and your husband!

Congrats on the upcoming anniversary :) and it's great you're out of your slump. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a long slump. Thank you.
DeleteI love the cover of Song of Blood and Stone, and am curious about another book with a similar sounding title that I've seen buzzed; Children of Blood and Bone!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to you! Have a good week.
I can't wait to read that one too when it comes out on the 6th. I also was drawn to the cover for Song of Blood and Stone too.
DeleteHappy Anniversary! Eating tacos and watching movies is my idea of a great Friday night. I like the cover on Song of Blood & Stone by L. Penelope, happy reading.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Tacos are my favorite. I love the cover too.
DeleteThat is quite a number of posts in a week. Kudos on your blog work!Glad you got your mojo back.

Thanks, I try to keep it full but I need to find a good balance to not get burned out again.
DeleteYay for tacos and movies, and happy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteNice haul too!
Thank you. :)
DeleteI like the cover for Sea Witch. I want to check that one out. Great considerations this week! I hope you get your hands on some!
ReplyDeleteMary #SundayRoundup #7
That's what caught my attention at first and then the synopsis made me want to give it a try. Thanks.
DeleteSong of Blood and Stone and Sea Witch both look super interesting. Congrats on 2 years and I hope you have a good week :)
ReplyDeleteThey both have beautiful covers and they sound good. Thanks.
DeleteYou got Sea Witch - I'm super excited for that one. Great haul!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like it will be a good one, so I'm looking forward to reading it.
DeleteWow, we're in the 20s. And have two feet of snow. Enjoy your "borderline summer"
ReplyDeleteIt was hot. I'd rather have Spring or a pleasant fall. Summer in the south is miserable. I wouldn't survive the 20s though, lol. :)
DeleteThat cover to Sea Witch is amazing! It looks like you have lots of great reading ahead of you. And congrats on your upcoming anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThanks, it's one I can't wait to get to but I have a few others to read before it. Thanks!
DeleteCongrats on the upcoming anniversary and the nice warm weather.
ReplyDeleteOh neat! You got Legendary. Happy reading and have a great week, Cricket!
Thanks Sophia Rose! Yeah, I'm glad I did because I'm reading Caraval now and really liking it so far.
DeleteCongrats on your two-year anniversary!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week and your books. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
Thanks, two years has come by so fast.
DeleteHappy Anniversary! Your weather sounds just like mine. Isn't it great! And tacos and movies are two of my favorite things:)
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Gotta love tacos. Thanks the weather is indecisive around these parts. Thanks
DeleteYum! Tacos! Sounds like the perfect night to me.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand the reading slumps, I've had those a few times. Glad you're out of it. :)
Hope you have a great week! ~Aleen
Thanks, me too. It's hard to be in a slump when you love to read.
DeleteCongrats on your anniversary! Enjoy your books and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Thanks!
DeleteHappy Anniversary! Hope you get to do something special soon! I've been seeing Legendary a lot, hope you enjoy it! Happy reading! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too, maybe the weekend will get to spend time together. I'm reading Caraval right now. Thanks :)
DeleteHappy Anniversary to you and your husband :) Oh wow 80's sound so lovely. Reading slumps are depressing, glad you found your reading mojo. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteMe too, thanks :)
DeleteHappy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteKinda jealous of the balmy temperature, we are in the low 20s. Yeah, you read that right. I'm freezing my a** off.
The Stephanie Garber book looks great but I still haven't read the first one. Hope you enjoy!
No way would I leave the house. I'd stay tucked in front of the fireplace with my pups. I just finished Caraval. Thanks.
DeleteI'm curious about Sea Witch, hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteMe too, the cover is so pretty and I like the concept.
DeleteLol, your weather is 'borderline summer' and ours is plummeting! Here in the UK, we're in the middle of a 'Siberian big freeze'... I'm so ready for warmer temps!
ReplyDeleteYikes, that's sounds so cold. I'm ready for Spring because it's not too hot but not cold either. Well then again I live in the South.
DeleteHappy Anniversary to you and your hubby!
ReplyDeleteI just got Legendary for review as well. Hopefully we'll both love it :)
Me too, I just finished Caraval and would like to see what Tella's perspective is like. Thanks
DeleteThanks, we might just relax and cook dinner together or something.
ReplyDeleteI hope you guys have a wonderful anniversary tomorrow. BTW, so jealous about Sea Witch. I've been dying to get my hands on a copy since I saw it. I hope you enjoy your new books.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I had my eye on Sea Witch and wasn't going to request it but then I just couldn't resist.
DeleteHappy Anniversary! Yay for getting your mojo back! I got A Song of Blood and Stone this week too (actually yesterday, so it didn't make it on my weekly wrap up). Have a great week and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It was a long slump. I'm hoping we both enjoy it.
DeleteOMG I love the illustrations on your blog. So whimsical! I'm so happy to see Dread Nation on your side bar. I hope we can fangilr together over it :) Happy 2 year anniversary! Tacos and watching movies is my favorite way to celebrate :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm on the 2nd chapter I think. I don't know how I missed it was about zombies but definitely love to see what you think about it.
DeleteThe Sea Witch looks really good - can't wait to hear what you think! Happy Anniversary and yay for good weather. Can't wait for summer to finally get here .... we're in this mushy melting snow phase right now :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds wet and cold. :) It sounds like it's going to be a good read. I can't wait for it to get warmer but not ready for sweltering temps.
