What do you feel is the best experience as a reader and how do you incorporate that into your writing?
I know as a reader I love it when I get lost in the story, when I *have* to turn the page to find out what’s going to happen next. That’s what I try to do with my stories – make the reader care enough about the characters that they *have* to turn the page and find out what happens next.
“Make your life what you want it to be” how do you apply this to your characters?Your life?
I think we all have the ability to pursue our dreams – it’s a matter of making up our mind that we’re going to go for it and then to do it—to not give up in the face of rejection, or difficulties. For instance, Tiki continues to pursue the life she dreams of for her family.
In my life, writing is a perfect example. Getting published is tough! But I learned from my mistakes and continued to hone my craft until I was able to write a book that sold.
