Weekend Blog Hop

Book Blogger Hop
I saw this posted on a blog I follow and saw it was hosted by CrazyforBooks.
This is my first blog hop, so hop on over to CrazyforBooks and join in the fun.
This weeks question:
What is your favorite Halloween costume?
Even if you don’t celebrate, what kinds of costumes do you like?

My Answer: I would say it would have to be a nymph, fairy or a belly dancer! Something colorful :) Though I haven't celebrated since I was in elementary school.

Synopsis from Goodreads

In the right dose, everything is a poison. Even love . . .
Jessamine Luxton has lived all her sixteen years in an isolated cottage near Alnwick Castle, with little company apart from the plants in her garden. Her father, Thomas, a feared and respected apothecary, has taught her much about the incredible powers of plants: that even the most innocent-looking weed can cure -- or kill.
When Jessamine begins to fall in love with a mysterious boy who claims to communicate with plants, she is drawn into the dangerous world of the poison garden in a way she never could have imagined . . .

What's in My Player #2

Synopsis from Goodreads
Miranda’s disbelief turns to fear in a split second when a meteor knocks the moon closer to the earth. How should her family prepare for the future when worldwide tsunamis wipe out the coasts, earthquakes rock the continents, and volcanic ash blocks out the sun? As summer turns to Arctic winter, Miranda, her two brothers, and their mother retreat to the unexpected safe haven of their sunroom, where they subsist on stockpiled food and limited water in the warmth of a wood-burning stove.

I find that I can overload myself with books...so many books so little time. If I could spend all my days immersed in a book I would, but alas no can do. However, with so much repetitiveness on the radio it's nice to pop in a book and listen to a story unfold. So,what's in your player?Post links so I can see what you're listening to.
