There was a beautiful spot on campus when I was in college, at William & Mary in Williamsburg, called Crim Dell. It’s a charming arched wooden bridge over a stream in some very picturesque woods. In spring, when the azaleas were in bloom, it was gorgeous. It was voted “most romantic spot on a college campus” for several years running and I know a lot of proposals and even weddings happened there! (Not mine, though.)
