LOVE WILL KILL US ALL

Violet Eden thought she was getting things under control. Then all hell breaks loose—literally. In the war between angels and exiles, she's about to face the biggest baddie of all time. Except she's not nearly ready.

The dark exile Phoenix is still messing with her head—not to mention her heart. And her undeniable attraction to Lincoln has gotten downright dangerous. When Hell unleashes its worst, Violet must embrace every facet of her angel self to save the people she cares about and the world as she knows it. But death is not the worst thing she will face..

Lilith is back and wants revenge. Violet' s mother, Evelyn, is her target but she has plans for her daughter that are more gruesome and sadistic than she can begin to imagine. She knows Lilith well and soon they will have to prepare for battle. Time is not in their favor as children are mysteriously disappearing all over the world but Violet has one task to tackle, the Academy and Josephine. They want to learn more about her yet it's their fear that resonates as they make a decision that sends Violet and Lincoln's world into chaos, love and loss. Determined to do whatever it takes to defeat Lilith, they walk right into her hands...can they survive? Will love truly be "endless" or will it end it all?

It's that love that willingness to sacrifice it all that will change Violet' s outlook and make her take a look at who is really deciding her life. I'm not entirely sure I like it but I'm curious what is next for her. I liked how she developed in this one, she's gradually getting stronger and her powers out are impressive. Initially, in the beginning, she let her anger towards her mother override her ability to see the truth of why she made the choice to die so that Violet could make her own path. Phoenix, he's so bad but so good and I still love him. It's like I could feel his inner turmoil and it was nice to get a better idea of who is really is other than dangerously delicious. The romance between Lincoln and Violet becomes every more intense and heartbreaking. Shirvington has packed so much emotion into this story and  characters, that it pours from the pages in a way that provides a connection to what the characters are experiencing. Overall, I liked this book and can't wait for the next one.
