Book Description
Margo Ford just became an heiress. Not the Paris Hilton kind. Her billions came after her father died and her insanely wealthy, insanely absent mother officially claimed her. Unfortunately, some terrorists noticed, and they hatched a plot to kidnap her. After a news report goes awry, reporting that Margo *has* been kidnapped, and her mother offers the humiliating sum of $500,000 for her return, Margo doesn't want anything to do with her *#$!@ of an egg donor. Then she is sentenced to a summer of "protection" on her mother's private island. Not the Oprah Winfrey kind. This one has an astronomical observatory filled with scientists, including Logan Greer, a super hot, super infuriating planet-hunter. Hiding out from kidnappers has never been so boring... until suddenly it isn't anymore.

Review: This was an okay read not bad, it was one of those teen love at first sight stories. The length of this book was about 126 pages I believe, and I felt it was too short for me. I wanted more details about Margo and Logan's background, and answers to a few questions that were not resolved. The characters were good, and it was easy to get a sense of who they were and the plot was quick obviously because it was short but I got the story just wish there was more of it. As a love story, it's believable, I could feel the quick, fast I'm in love now that you looked at me with those blues eyes, I can't breathe without you baby teen love thing. I am interested to find out what happens next, if there will be more for Logan and Margo. And also why Cindy, her mother, gave her up when she was a baby? I would like to hear what you all think about it, so give it a read.

  1. Great review! I agree it's really short, but I felt that the characters were totally likeable. and she did do a great job of catching that first falling in love feeling for teenagers.

if you have time, check out my review!

  2. Thanks for the review! :) I was telling Ning, this was originally part of a larger book. I'm releasing the whole book as When You Return in the next month or so... A lot of those questions will be resolved and of course the length thing won't be an issue anymore, either. I was eager to see what people would think about how quickly they fell for each other. For me it was just on the edge of being too fast, but not. (Of course, I would feel that way, right?) ;) The extended version of the story makes them "earn" their relationship a little more... Oh, and in it, Logan does not give up his career for her and they don't get together till they're older. I think it's so interesting how everyone wants to know more about Margo's mom. The answer to the question about why she gave Margo to her dad should be answered in the When You Return. There is definitely a story there...
